Small groups at The Kirk
Small groups are one of the four environments in our church strategy, meaning a place you go to participate in the transformation process. All of our adult small groups at The Kirk are here to help you grow in being transformed by Christ to transform the world. No matter your age or stage in life, we believe everyone who calls The Kirk home will benefit from being part of an intentional community that helps us live gospel-shaped lives. At The Kirk, we have three main categories for groups.
Community Groups gather regularly for prayer, study, fellowship, accountability and service. Groups meet weekly or bi-weekly, and while some meet in the church, many meet in homes. We have couple’s groups, mixed groups, and men's/women's groups for all ages and stages of life. You can join an existing group, or start your own!
Our study groups in a variety of shapes, sizes, and formats. While they often include prayer, fellowship, and serving, the primary focus is to study the Bible together. Studies include a lecture style presentation, small group discussion, or a combination of both approaches. A study group will help you grow in knowledge and application of the Bible.
Prayer groups meet to pray for the ministries of the church and the concerns of the world. As a prayer saturated church, The Kirk believes our prayer groups are a great way to speak to the Lord together, and ask for His blessing for the church, ourselves and others.
The Kirk small groups are open to everyone! If you are not currently connected in community at our church, we invite you to check out one of our groups.
