Connecting with other Believers as a college student can make all the difference. Bob (the Kirk's College Ministry) believes this, and we're all about getting everyone plugged in - whether you're going to school in Tulsa or somewhere else.
Each week, about 90 different students around the state get together with other folks on their campus to study God's Word, and to talk about what it means to live as a follower of Christ in their world. And, of course, to eat.
In Tulsa, groups meet everywhere from local coffee shops to campus apartments - at times ranging from early morning to late evening. We like to assemble our groups at the beginning of each semester, and then let them find a meeting time that works for everyone in the group.
At other campuses , we send one of the Bob staff or volunteers out each week with dinner to encourage students and fill their stomachs. These groups do the same studies that the Tulsa guys do, so they feel connected to what's going on back home even when school is a few hours down the road. Campuses that Bob visits weekly include:
- OSU
- OU
- JBU
