Pathways Adult Learning Center

Pathways Adult Learning Center, a ministry of Kirk of the Hills, is a work training and continuing education program for adults with intellectual disabilities that opened in June of 2009. Currently students attend Pathways from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Pathways currently serves 18 students with plans to serve many more.
In 2011 Pathways expanded to a full time program to serve more students. Pathways accepts student applications on an on-going basis and also welcomes new volunteers.
Students at Pathways have action-packed days filled with Bible study, current events, cooking, work training, developing new products for their student store, individual goal time, community experiences, and so much more. It focuses on the unique talents and gifts that God has blessed each of the students with and helps each student achieve to their full potential.
Pathways hosts a free luncheon/tour at 12 p.m. in the Special Buds room (room B22) on the last Thursday of each month. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Pathways.
