Biblical Teaching

With the exception of His Son, Jesus Christ, the greatest gift God has given to us is His Word.  Through it we come to learn who He is, why we're here, how we are saved, and what the future holds - just to name a few things!  More than simply a book or collection of writings (among other writings), God's Word is active and life-giving because the Holy Spirit who inspired it continues to work through it today as it is read and taught. 


 

At The Kirk, the wonderful gift of God's Word is the foundation for our preaching and teaching.  From worship to classes to small groups and individual study, we seek always to be firmly rooted in the truth of God's Word; our pastors and teachers take great care to study, interpret, and plainly present this truth.  Not only do we gather around the Word regularly, but we also want to see each disciple of Jesus Christ engaged in their own reading and study - we are passionate about this!
