Other than music, what do you like to do?
I love anything outdoors: mountains, rivers, oceans, canyons, even a good African safari.  I grew up in Arkansas fishing, hunting, and hiking the gorgeous Ozark Mountains -- there was always an adventure.  I also like to travel and see the world.  Each country has it's own culture and what a joy it is to build new relationships with beautiful people from around the world -- we have much to learn.

If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
This one's always tricky and for me, it's always changing.  Right now, a man named C.S. Lewis.  He was many things including: professor, novelist, and "lay" theologian.  He left us many words of which are globally known, but my favorite thing about C.S. Lewis is how he lived and thought of himself.  He lived simply, worked hard at what he was good at, and though clearly one of the worlds sharpest minds, always referred to himself as "just a layman."  Oh, he was also a close friend of the guy who thought up and wrote The Lord of the Rings, J.R.R. Tolkien!

What one appliance could you never give up?
Easy, iPhone -- it cleans the house and cooks meals.
