It is our vision to "reach beyond" our comfort zone and expand our ministry physically into a new part of the Tulsa community as well as refresh and enhance our present location for more effective ministry and future growth. The Kirk is known for missions outreach and Christ-centered ministry. The Lord has called us to expand our influence as we look to be “one church in two locations” with the addition of Kirk Crossing.

Reaching Beyond is our current three-year capital campaign (March 2010-2013).  We believe that the vision shared by our elders and pastors (the vision to expand our ministry physically into a new part of the Tulsa community) is a call from God for us to respond to with confidence. This confidence is not in our own ability to determine what is right or to accomplish it; it is a confidence that this is the Lord’s moment, and He will see it through to success. We are simply privileged to participate.

Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach... For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.  Deuteronomy 30:11, 16

Approximately 77 acres on south highway 75 were purchased in August 2008.  This campus will incorporate retail businesses and services designed to complement the community where kids could come learn and play, and adults could come to gather.  We want to expand our reach to the growing Jenks/Glenpool/Sapulpa communities.

We believe this new property is God’s gift to us. We want to use it for His purpose!

The $9.5million campaign includes the following components:

• Building $7 million

• Property $2 million

• 61st street improvements $500,000

The main purpose is to develop Kirk Crossing and to renew Kirk of the Hills to fulfill our vision as one church, two locations. We seek to expand the Kingdom of God in our community and throughout the world.
