2nd Saturday

2nd Saturday is a fun and convenient way for you to serve in our local mission efforts. It’s important for your Christian walk and it’s a valuable way to show Jesus to others. Overcome the obstacles in your way and become a part of 2nd Saturday. Together we will see young people and adults transformed by serving others in Jesus’ name.

Here’s how 2nd Saturday works:

On the second Saturday of each month, just show up at The Kirk at 8:30 a.m.
 There will be 1-3 local service opportunities available for the day. Take your pick. At 8:45, we’ll load up to travel to your service site.  Work time will be 9:00-11:45 a.m.

You’ll be back at The Kirk by lunch time!

Kirk Karpenters
Kirk Karpenters are men and women who share the love of Jesus Christ throughout the Tulsa area by meeting on Saturdays to build wheelchair ramps and perform other light construction projects at the homes of those in need. No special skills are required -- we provide on-the-job-training.  Both men and women are welcome to participate.  We are flexible on the frequency and duration of participation.  Some people work all day, some in the morning only, etc.  In addition to the carpentry activities, there are frequently opportunities for evangelism, prayer with our clients, etc.  Join us and make a difference!  Contact  Richard Klein.

Join us on Saturdays as we continue construction on ramps.  Please meet @Kirk of the Hills in the east parking lot at 8:00 a.m.
