The New You in Christ "The New You in Christ" is the foundational term in our discipleship language. It comes from 2 Cor.5:17, where Paul declares that if anyone is "in Christ" (has received God's gift of salvation through faith in Christ alone), "he is a new creation; the old has gone and the new has come!" This is a dynamic way to understand what it means to be a Christian. The same God who created us in the first place has re-created us! We are now living a new life. But what does that new life entail? How can we think and talk about it in ways that help us better live it out? That's where the four aspects or dimensions of discipleship come in. Join us on Wednesday nights to learn more about "the new you."

The Miracle of Dialogue: Understanding and Improving Communication Communication is arguably the most complex human behavior. This short course will examine the nature of communication viewed as a God-given tool for human interaction, at once necessarily complex and yet manageable for most people most of the time in most situation.
Reformed Theology Our old denomination had a collection of historical creeds that made up half of its constitution. Sadly, due to some internal contradictions between some of these creeds, it enabled leaders to fall away from historical Presbyterian teaching. Our new denomination, the EPC (Evangelical Presbyterian Church), includes only one creed, the "Westminster Confession of Faith." Our officers (elders, deacons and pastors) will be required to be familiar with this confession, and use it as a guide to how we interpret Scripture. This class will give a broad overview of what Presbyterians have confessed about our faith since the 17th Century. There are some interesting points of controversy that will be discussed!
Bible Blast Participation Instead of always separating parents and children when they walk in the church doors, there is a wonderful opportunity for parents to participate in Bible Blast with their kids for these 5 weeks! This allows parents the opportunity to see how their Bible Blast work at home comes together with the weekly group experience on Wednesday nights.
Divorce Care DivorceCare is a Christian-based series designed to help with the pain and grief of divorce. DivorceCare is an open to those within the Kirk and in the community.
