Get Connected

"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me" (John 17.20-21).
This prayer of Jesus leaves no doubt - to be connected to him is to be connected to all who believe in him. One of the main images of the Church in the New Testament is that of being Christ's "body" (1 Cor. 12.12-31). Just as the parts of a body are joined together to make a whole, so all who are in Christ are connected to one another. This unity is expressed as we worship and serve together, minister to one another, and also learn and grow together.
There are numerous opportunities to connect with Christ's Body at The Kirk. Whether in classes, small groups, Bible studies or service, our desire is to help individual disciples fully engage in the larger community of the church even as they grow in their own faith. Connection isn't optional, it's essential - so we invite you to explore the many opportunities for connection that exist at The Kirk and we'll offer whatever assistance we can in helping you do just that.
