1st-3rd Grades
Children in early elementary learn from the examples they see each day. Most times these examples come from their parents. Just as children learn from the examples set by their parents, our early elementary programming stresses the examples set forth by God in the Bible. Here at the Kirk, children learn by watching how Jesus lived and acted during His lifetime.

On Sunday mornings, Kirk early elementary children actually experience the Bible and God's love and plan for them. Each week, they walk hallways and enter rooms painted with biblical scenes and characters that transport them back to Bible times. They don’t just learn, but experience scripture and Bible stories through hands on, multi-dimensional activities that compliment their many different learning styles.

Quiz Kids (September-May)

Quiz Kids is an awesome Sunday morning rotation option for kids 1st-5th grades. Bible study is combined with a fun buzzer quizzing session that helps kids sharpen their Bible memory and knowledge skills and it's loads of fun! (Sept. - May only)

Sunday Mornings

Children attend worship services with their parents and we offer Bible Mania. Bible Mania is a notebook filled with interactive coloring pages, Bible stories, word searches and more. Please click here for more details.

Elementary Programming Descriptions
Bible Skills & Thrills
The Bible Skills & Thrills program helps early elementary children understand the layout of the Bible and memorize key scriptures thorough great songs, chants, fun activities, treats and more. Kids develop excellent Bible study skills that will help them in their pursuit of wisdom and knowledge of God’s ways and of His plans for their life.
Kids Choir
The Kids Choir provides an outlet for children to learn and express their love of God through song. Emphasis is placed on good singing habits and learning to read music. At the Kirk we offer a specially designed program for children in early elementary called "Singing Saints" and a separate program for older children called "Friendship Company Choir." Weekly practices help children learn to maximize the gifts the Lord has given them, as they learn to minister to others through music. For more information about Kids Choir, please click here.
