At The Kirk, our children’s ministries exist to support parents in raising Christ centered children. We are passionate about showing children how God wants them to live their lives. Our Sunday mornings focus on scripture, biblical truths, and life application. During their early childhood years, we focus on giving children a loving first impression of the Heavenly Father. As they move through the elementary years, we teach them how to grasp several biblically based truths to assist them in dealing with all aspects of life. The Kirk also offers Sunday night and mid-week kids programs, as well as a variety of special events like VBS, lock-ins, and family fun nights.
Early Childhood, Infants-Kindergarten
We believe the Bible should never be boring. Worship can be really loud and energetic and large group time can be messy and full of drama! In the Kirk Kids environment, good leaders always care. The focus is on our small group time. We want kids to see how God's word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
Elementary, 1st - 4th grades
This weekly environment is created especially for your infants (six weeks) through Kindergarten. We can't wait to meet them! We know things are busy at this stage in life and your children are learning and growing in amazing ways. We are ready for your kiddos and excited to teach them that God made them, that God loves them and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever!
Preteens, 5th - 6th grades
IGNITE is a two-year transitional program for preteens. The purpose of the IGNITE program is to transition 5th and 6th graders from Kirk Kids to the Kirk Students ministry program. The focus is on biblical application to preteen issues, developing a mission mindset to serve others, while providing a fun environment where preteens want to hang out with one another.
