Young Adults

The Kirk provides young adults with an opportunity to study God's Word, and helps them work to integrate their faith and their lives through community.

Sunday mornings

Have you ever felt like something was missing in your relationship with God?  Do you ever feel like you want to experience more of Him?  Know more of Him?  Hear more from Him?  Express yourself more to Him?   If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are normal!  Everyone has difficulty connecting with God at various times in their lives.  This Sunday, we will be starting a new five-week series called More.  There's no question that prayer is a vital way in which we relate to God; the way we experience More.  Come and learn how you can experience More of Him!

this sunday

Don't miss this Sunday at the hub - we will be hearing from Kendall & Rachel Lehman as they prepare to leave (end of May) for full-time mission work.  Come and hear about their journey, their ministry, and how you can support them.  As they prepare to go, we will also have a special time of prayer.  Join us - 9:30am - Room B8!

going away party

You are invited to Kendall & Rachel's going away party on Tuesday, May 13th - drop by any time between 5:00 and 9:00pm.  The party is at the home of Jordan & Emily James, 9210 S. Braden Place (near 91st & Yale).  Come by and share in a great time!

hub brazil

hubbers Jordan & Emily James will be leading a short-term mission trip to Brazil July 12-20.  The team will be working with Jason and Lilliam Gardner (Kirk missionaries and Brazilian hubbers!) doing a variety of projects.  This is a wonderful opportunity to let God use you in extraordinary ways!  The deadline for signing up is May 15th so contact Jordan (Jordan@JKJCo.com) for more details and to have any questions answered.

the hub hub

The best way to describe the hub is that it is a 'group of groups.’ It's a large gathering of young adults, some single, some married; some with kids, some without. The focus of our Sunday morning time is Bible study and discipleship (of course we have our fair share of fellowship and fun as well).

A 'hub' is the central part of a wheel and that's also a good way to describe our community; it is the ‘home base’ from which young adults will be involved in many areas of the Kirk.

No matter where we are in our lives, we all need to be thinking about our "next step" of faith; maybe yours is to join us! If you are a young adult (i.e. 20's up to mid 30's or so), check us out on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am.

Small Groups

If you are not in a small group, please click here to contact Sean Farver and he will get you connected in a small group.
