Just Do It

Nominate someone for Kirk Leadership
(Elder, Deacon, Trustee)

Do you know someone who is spiritually mature and shows a gift in leadership? Do you think they would be an excellent Elder, Deacon or Trustee? The Nominating Committee would like every member of the church to consider nominating at least one name for a position in church leadership for the class of 2011. Who do you think is ready?

Nominations end August 31st

“Worship As Witness”-Psalm 29 & Ephesians 5:15-20

Dr. Robbie Castleman, author, mother of two and Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies and Theology at John Brown University, will be speaking at all worship services next Sunday, August 17th. Her message will help us see how the worship of God’s people can be a profound witness in an uncertain and threatening world. She will also deal with the question, “Why is worship not just another “church program” intended to feed the flock?” Her book, “Parenting in the Pew,” will also be for sale.
